Project Overview
The client runs a nursing program that provides Vietnamese nurses with a study path to learn and eventually work in the United States. She already had an existing website created by a professional developer, but it was difficult to use and failed to meet the needs of prospective students. The revamp aimed to create a clear, professional, and easy-to-navigate platform that could effectively communicate the program’s value and opportunities.
Challenges
The existing website was difficult to navigate and did not effectively present important program details.
Despite being built by a professional developer, the site lacked usability and did not appeal to the program’s target audience.
My Role & Process
Design & Branding: Introduced a clean, professional look that better reflected the credibility of an international nursing program.
Content Presentation: Simplified complex information into sections that prospective students could easily understand.
Simplify: Instead of using WordPress, I migrated the site to Hostinger’s Website Builder, giving the client a more user-friendly, drag-and-drop platform that they could manage without technical skills.
Tools Used: Hostinger Website Builder
Solution
Designed a user-friendly website with clear navigation and quick links to key program information.
Made the website fully responsive for accessibility across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Streamlined the backend so the client could easily manage updates without technical expertise.
Results & Impact
The revamped website provided a professional, trustworthy first impression for prospective students.
Navigation was simplified, making it easier to explore admissions details, curriculum, and next steps.
Takeaways
This project highlighted the importance of combining design with usability, especially for education-focused programs. It showed how simplifying content and structuring navigation around the user journey can increase trust and engagement with prospective students.
